The short version
Photo Motion creates a five-second AI motion clip from a finished photo. See how it works and what to check before sharing.
Photo Motion creates a five-second AI motion clip from a finished photo. If you have a listing image you want to use in a short video, you can start with that image rather than arranging another shoot.
The feature is in beta. Watch the finished clip carefully and compare it with your source before sharing it. AI motion can introduce details that were not in the photo, so the result needs the same attention you would give any other marketing material for a property.
Start with a finished photo
Choose a photo you are happy with before turning it into motion. Check the still image first: the room, furnishings, lighting and visible property details should be suitable for the use you have in mind.
Photo Motion then generates a short moving version of that image. The clip is AI-generated, rather than footage recorded while someone walked through the property. Keep that distinction clear when deciding where and how to use it.
You can see a Photo Motion example before trying it on your own work.
Choose the kind of video you need
A before/after reveal shows the change between an original photo and its edited result. Photo Motion creates movement from a photo. Choose a reveal when you want to explain the transformation; choose Photo Motion when you want to try a short moving treatment of a finished image.
If a reveal is what you need, our before/after reel guide explains that workflow.
Photo Motion is a separate paid tool. Review the current offer and credit requirement in Stylst before creating a clip. Do not assume a still-photo credit or an included revision covers a new motion generation.
Review the whole clip before sharing
Watch the clip from beginning to end alongside your source photo. Pay particular attention to walls, windows, doorways, fixtures and the edges of the frame. Check whether anything appears, disappears, changes shape or moves in a way that misrepresents the property.
A clip can look convincing at first glance and still contain a detail that should not be there. If you spot a change that would mislead someone about the space, do not use that version in your listing marketing.
Keep any applicable staging disclosures, and check the requirements of the place where you plan to post. A short AI clip should not imply that a viewer is seeing recorded footage of the property.
Tell us what worked and what did not
We want your honest feedback on Photo Motion, including the parts that do not work for your listings. Was the movement useful? Did the clip preserve the details that mattered? Would you actually share it?
If something looks wrong, tell us what changed and where you noticed it in the clip. Specific feedback helps us understand the problem much better than a general thumbs-down.
